ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has banned the live broadcast of the speech of Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman.
According to the details, in the announcement issued by Pemra, the TV channels have been instructed that they can broadcast the recorded speech of Imran Khan, but there is a ban on broadcasting the live address and speech.
The statement said that Imran Khan's speech will be banned under Section 27 of the PEMRA Ordinance 2002. According to the PEMRA spokesman, Imran Khan is making baseless accusations against state institutions in his speeches.
It should be remembered that Imran Khan while addressing the rally called for the release of Shehbaz Gul in Islamabad's F-Nine Park threatened the IG Islamabad, DIG Islamabad and Magistrate Zeba Chaudhry and said that 'We will see you and take action against them. you'.
On the other hand, the parties in the government coalition have demanded the Supreme Court to take notice of Imran Khan's speech on threatening magistrates and police officers and have also demanded the arrest of Imran Khan and his associates from the Ministry of Interior.
Apart from this, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has indicated legal action against Imran Khan and said that "the whole world saw the threat directly, now Imran Khan should be ready to face legal action".
